Information Technology

Asia-Link, Inc. is in the Communications business, and so continuously invests in Information Technology with the goal of efficiently integrating a fully automated global supply chain management system.

Microsoft Network

• Asia-Link, Inc. maintains its in house server network operating with Microsoft Windows 2000 Server software. We have full T1 access to the internet.

Epicor Vantage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software

• Built on a true service-oriented architecture (SOA) using Microsoft .NET and Web-services. Epicor Vantage is an easy-to-use solution with built-in workflow processes that enable Asia-Link to manage the entire order cycle.

Asia-Link Virtual Information Network (Intranet)

• Asia-Link Inc.’s alVIN based Intranet continues to evolve. We develop data views to empower each team member to accomplish goals with proper information. A centralized scanner allows for the move towards a “paperless” environment in the near future.

Asia-Link Virtual Information Network (Extranet)

• Our Asia and Mexico offices are sharing alVIN data through high speed ISDN & DSL lines. We have firewall protection to keep information secure. Our customers will have full access to all of their data with the assurance of total privacy.

XML

• We are currently testing XML data exchange in preparation for Internet EDI.

Asia-Link Internet

• Asia-Link, Inc.’s evolving website, which you are viewing, has been on line since 1995. This general information forum is available to all prospective customers.

Asia-Link Virtual Offices

• We have deployed high speed video conferencing to remote offices. This visual capability plus alVIN data allow meetings on demand. We are committed to place our resources close to our Customer base.
